School Improvement Council

In South Carolina, “SIC” refers to the School Improvement Council, a legally established advisory group in every public school that includes parents, educators, community members, and (in high schools) students. It supports school improvement, compliance, and family–community engagement, coordinated statewide by the SC-SIC at the University of South Carolina.
