HHES School Improvement Council

The South Carolina School Improvement Council (SC-SIC) is a group that advises the school administration and faculty on how to improve their school. The SC-SIC provides resources, training, and technical assistance to the state's School Improvement Councils (SICs). 

What does the SC-SIC do? 

• Provides resources, training, and technical assistance to SICs
• Publishes a quarterly newsletter and periodic email updates
• Maintains a social media presence on Facebook and Twitter

What does an SIC do? 

• Advises the school principal and faculty
• Collaborates with parents, educators, students, and community stakeholders
• Works to improve the local school
