Greetings, Eagle Families!

As we enter the month of May—the final month of the school year—I want to thank you for your continued support, partnership, and engagement throughout the year. Your encouragement of our students as they showcased their talents and academic achievements truly reflect the strength of our Eagle community. We are grateful for the role you play in helping our students soar.

While we are excited to celebrate how far our Eagles have come, May remains a critical month for learning and growth. Students are actively engaged in state and district assessments, and instructional time remains extremely important. Daily, on‑time attendance is essential as students demonstrate what they have learned and continue to build the skills needed for success. Families can support this effort by ensuring students arrive on time, are well‑rested, and come to school ready to focus. We also encourage parents to regularly monitor grades through Parent Portal and to stay connected with teachers regarding academic progress and support.

As we look ahead, our staff is also preparing students for a successful transition into the next school year. End‑of‑year review lessons, and readiness activities are designed to ensure our Eagles finish strong and are well‑prepared for what’s next. In addition, families of eligible students may receive communication regarding summer learning opportunities and next steps to support continued academic growth. Please be sure to read school emails carefully and respond promptly if action is requested. Further, continue reinforcing positive behavior as the end-of-year excitement builds.  Our school’s Family Handbook and District Code of Conduct remain helpful resources for reviewing these expectations at home.

We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we balance celebrations with maintaining a focused learning environment. Important information regarding testing, summer programming, end‑of‑year events, and next school‑year readiness will continue to be shared, so please stay connected through email, newsletters, and school communications. 

Together, we will ensure our Eagles end the year successfully and are ready to take flight into new opportunities ahead.
