Students in Richland One were given the opportunity to find a mentor for the day on February 2, 2017.  Over 150 W.G. Sanders students participated and learned about a day in the life of many different professions including horse training, teaching, sales and more.  We were delighted to host a few students from other schools who shadowed our very fun and capable guidance and social work staff.

  • A Message from the Principal:

I take great pride in being the principal of W. G. Sanders Middle School because of the wonderful staff, students and parents. I continue to be amazed with the rich history of traditions that help prepare students for a successful career in high school.

This year we are implementing a wide variety of developmentally appropriate strategies in facilitating the learning for our students. Teachers continue to infuse technology into student lessons, and teachers continue to provide a challenging curriculum for our students.

Stop by our parent and community center to find ways in which you can support our community initiatives. Also, take a look at our mission statement, our beliefs and our action plans. Give us feedback as we continue to monitor and enhance our instructional program.

I look forward to working with all of you.
